brake help
My brother needs a new brake master cyl.
I was woundering if a 1977 repu brake master cyl would work on a 74, maybe even the whole brake booster setup also.
If not dose anyone have a good working setup they would be willing to sale. Brake booster and cyl all.

Iinstalled a '77 master cylinder and vacuum booster on my '74. Even though the wheel cylinders are different, it seemed to work.

MC
Did you notice what the difference was, if any, between the 77MC and the 74 MC ?

The vacuum booster was bad on my truck, so to not take any chances, I swapped them both. The only reason there was an improvement is due to the vacuum booster. The master cylinders are probably close enough to get away with swapping them.
