Would anyone be interested in these parts I have?

I have a repu hood trim in great shape, and a rotary pickup tailgate. I don’t have any use for them right now. Even though I will have a repu sometime later down the road again. Just don’t have the need for these parts right now and they are taking up space. If anyone is interested in them you can email me at mk1koopa@allmail.net

Thank you,

Were I to start emailing you *again*...

...would you actually stay in touch, or would it be another bunch of months of the occasional back-and-forth, with no response in between?

You know, I saved you that rx-2 grille for a good long time, before giving up... (still sorry we both missed out.)

That's funny you should say that...

...because it's precisely how I felt. Still sorry we both missed out on a potentially good trade. Oh well. Guess waiting for months for something to work out is... rude.

Well do something about it...

I am lost in here !!!

Try to do something about it , Kick if you have parts and are willing to part from them... Would you sell them to anyone... Even if it makes little trouble for you...
To go to post office and pack all in and all that comes around with it?

I have been trying so long here to get some parts to my Repu , so i will say that no one have ever helped me or even tryed to help me with parts... There are so many people that say that they have things for sale , but when it comes to the final end it fails... Are you that type of guy... Had to ask... Take no offence...

I don´t know if it is that i live in sweden or what , but over seas might be frightened in some way , i don´t know?

Only parts i have got is outside from this forum , from guys that gladly want to help me and also do it...

I remember a Battery box that came up for sale here and the guy did´nt know how or what to take for it , and he said he would put it up on E-bay... But it never came up there... He mentioned to have at least $300 or more , to much i will say , one month after that i bought a box from a friend in the US for $25 talk about a man to practise usury $300 ho ho...

I think if Klaus had a Rx2 grille to you , you should at least have told him that you not were intrested or had any $dollar for it ? Or told him if he could wait... Better that then not responding at all , that´s more human respons... Don´t you think ?

Be strait forward is my goal here in life , we don´t be here sitting around so long time after all... We all can die tomorrow and leave with the train to heaven , so make life worth living when you can... Help a Repu Buddy... :-)

The parts i am going for now is the more rare pieces and i can understand that people not want to part from it when they are so hard to get... But if some one have multiple parts and can offer one without feel bad about it , hit me an E-mail...

But i am not sure that i will get any respond as usual...

I have gived up...
Or is there hope???

It's good to see...

...more consistent responses from you here and now, Jeff. I don't intend to make you feel unwelcome; just wanting to know how serious you were, this time... (ultimately to your own, as well as your buyer's benefit, IMHO)--.

Lars, kick's not a bad guy, I just got a little frustrated with us never getting together on things. You see, his Dad's a panelbeater by trade, and he got a '76 rx-4 coupe from a friend of mine that used to belong to me... and I always hoped we could get together to mutual benefit on a bunch of stuff. Nevermind that I kinda wanted to see his rx-2 get what it needs... We were in touch off and on for a long time; perhaps I should've made a greater effort?

It's OK; I've probably frustrated someone else in a similar fashion, at some point... If I had any of the parts you need available at a fair price, I'd send 'em to you no problem, as long as you're up for the shipping costs. I think you certainly deserve a little support, being all the way 'over there' in Sweden, as you are...
If and when I part a truck, I'll definitely ask you what you're still needing!

Jeff, Lasse (Lars) is a good guy to deal with also. If you have anything he needs for sale, I wouldn't hesitate to pack it up real good and ship it off to him. I'd recommend checking out FedEx for possibly the best deal on shipping...

Jeff, have you...

...'disappeared' again, or are you not responding hereabouts due to the request for pics, and your lack of a functional camera?

(Just checking!)

If it's any easier for you to do so,

please, feel free to make use of the available space at 'my' little MSN-group... (see my 'signature line' for the web address).

As I've stated around here in the past, it is not my intent to detract from the picture gallery here on this forum... but, if for any reason it's easier/preferable for you to post at the MSN site, all REPU folks are more than welcome to!

Parts for sale pics might even be more appropriate (though temporary)there...?

'Whatever works!'

(Glad I didn't manage to run a bro off!) :)

Well, that address works...

...(though not as a link). Also, I don't see any pics of a tailgate... (What I do see is where you've been spending your on-line forum time!)

The hood trim looks good, from what I can see.

Why not post pics in a dedicated REPU environment?

You can lead a horse to water...

Ill get some photos of the tailgate this weekend.
If their is anyone that is interested in my hood trim. Ill take 30 for it, last time I looked in to shipping it would run 10 to ship it.

I'd still give that...

...for it, and happily, if indeed it's as clean and straight as it appears to me to be, from the pics. But, I'd rather avoid shipping, not so much for the cost, but because of the fragile nature of the trim... and the risk in shipping it.

It remains to be seen if I'll be passing through anywhere near your location between now and early March, though...

?

We tried that, remember?

...for months and months and months, all last year.

So, where are those pics of the tailgate posted?
