My truck is still covered under CA smog laws and the air pump is now going out. I heard from someone at the last Sevenstock that you can use an electronic air pump as a replacement for the original which is no longer available. Any idea which car model/year has the pump I can use?
Check out a junk yard. Any 1st gen RX7 air pump will work. I have one on my '77. Good luck.

Electric air pumps are intended for start-up / warm-up. They are not intended for continuous running. I have lots of mechanical pumps if you guys need some.
