1974 REPU Convertible
My 16 year old son owns one. It looks like it was a factory made convertible. It is a hard top that lifts off in one piece. I have searched around for others, but I cannot find any. Has anyone ever seen another one? The engine is in great shape, but it is in need of a clutch. He has a '93 Jeep Cherokee that he wants to work on and is considering selling his REPU, but we have no clue what it is work. The body has some minor damage to the passenger side read quarter panel, and slight damage to the driver's side door. No rust. Anyone have any clue? Thanks for your help!

REPU vert?? No way! Gotta be a custom job, but let the gurus chime in here.
I'd bet my little fat beagle that it's not factory, but cool nevertheless!

I don't think it was a factory option but back in the late 80's my friend had one and it was done very well. Not factory though.

Convertible
The convertible was never a Mazda option. Back when these and a lot of other "mini trucks" were new, there were several companies marketing convertible kits. I don't believe any of these kits are in production now.
