Rotary Pickup vs. B1600

Hello,

I was looking at the REPU Brochure on this site and I noticed that the REPU weighs 245lbs more than its B1600 brother (2720 vs. 2475). Can anyone explain why?

thanks much

weight

my guess would be the heavier flywheel and the cast iron side housings and the larger cooling system ?
Safe to say ? that the main frame member is not exactly the same and might be heavier duty as well.

The REPU has a higher payload capacity if I remember right, so I imagine there are a few other structural and suspension parts that are a bit beefier

It's wider...

...faster, more heavy-duty, and can haul a bigger payload... as it hauls ass! Any more questions? ;)

The stance of a rotary truck is wider too. More room in the bed.
