Door Weatherstripping

I found weatherstripping for the doors at an awesome price and alot better than stock and for the inside of the hood that is closests to the windshield , contact J and J auto fabrics at 247 s. riverside ave rialto ca. 92376 909-874-3040
for the doors your gonna ask for item number 6150 B 2 1/8 location a
ask for 4 yards, its alittle less than that though
price,,,should be about $24 yes you read correct. they do not do installs, they are wholesale only , no glue needed. for the hood, you need 1 1/2 yard item number is x114 $3 bucks for that one,,,cheap and real nice stuff guys, you'll see.

door weatherstripping

Thanks for the heads-up Andy! I went and bought the door weatherstripping today and the quality looks pretty damn good for the money. Bobby helped me out and he was cool as hell!

rubber parts

Do they have a rubber to fit at the front of the hood, above the radiator?

I'm not sure on those hood seals, but give them a call and talk to Bobby. I'm pretty sure he'll be able to help you out. If you have the old seal, you might want to bring it with, so that he could match one up for you. Good-luck.

Thanks also, Micah.

I bought the door weatherstrip as well and it installed quite easily. Just push it onto the door pinch weld. It bunches up a little at the corners, but overall the fit is quite nice. The bunching does not seem to affect the seal at all. I'm going to try to put a heat gun on a scrap piece I have to see if it will shrink down at all to fit the corners a little better. Just to clarify Micah's first post, you'll need 4 yards per door, not 4 yards total. Still a great deal.

Is there any way someone could get J and J's part #s for the door window felt? I live in Texas and can't really go down there to compare the stock parts to their available parts...

BTW, they had no problem shipping the door rubbers to me. It arrived in a couple days.

I've just installed the door weatherstripping and man does it fit nice and snug. I wouldn't say that the corners bunch-up, rather just a miniscule wrinkle on each corner, nice fit nonetheless.
As far as the window felt/fuzz and the wing window seals, I'll check and see the next time I'm over there.

My thanks to you too Andy for the heads up on the weatherstripping. Mine got here today and like you said, it is very nice stuff. I cut a little piece for test fitting and it looks like it will work perfectly. I can't wait to install it.
