wheres all your rust?

Well I know the Repu and the Courer have some rusting issues. Whats the most common spot or where you have found it. I know the Batt. box is junk on almost all trucks, but what do you expect, its low so all the crud from the road hits it and then u all the crud from having a batt there. I had a 75 ford and a 74 repu both have rotten floors in the front of the cab. I always figured it was due to the wheel well area. well last night i think i found the major leaking area on the Pass side. Its under the windshield... but back towards the cab more. Id call it the firewall i guess, its the shelf area the wiper, id plate and fuse box are at, just at the back. Kinda a bad idea on madza putting the matting stuff on it, i think it just keeps the water in the low spots.... rusting them out. i looked and theres rust in the far back all the way across. and on the pass. outermost area just above the fresh air ventthing i have a 2x4 hole. that was a real shocker. I sure hope i can get it built back up good enuff with fiberglass and then coat it with the rubber undercoating spray. then after some prep in the low spot in the shelf i plan to spray that stuff also.
I was hopin to be close to finished with the rust in the cab but i guess not. I might have a fiberglass repu when im done. Off to lay more glass and then swap out the battery box. I coated the new 1 with the rubber coating right off the bat.
