Thermo pellet in the oil cooler
In case you need to replace the thermo pellet (aka thermostat) that is in the oil cooler, it's part number is 8871-14-810. It includes the thermo pellet itself, the spring that sits on top of the pellet, the plug that threads under the oil cooler and an aluminum crush washer. For $87.03 from your friendly MAZDA dealer.
It bypasses below 140*F so the engine warms up faster, and if there's a pressure differential of 50psi from oil cooler inlet to outlet, it'll bypass too. Such as really cold oil.
Threebond 1194 is a bitchin' sealant for oil cooler fittings tooo....

Oil Cooler mounts
Brad,
A great replacement of broken oil cooler mounts are on many late model General Motors Air Injection Pump mounts.
Seeing your oil cooler and thermal pellet seemed like a good time to mention it.
I bought genunine Mazda mounts many years ago and they might still be available from Mazda ,if not, GM has them.

Thanks Tim. I have some aftermarket generic ones that work well. More rubber than the mazda ones.
