There are suites and penthouse suites available at this time with a reduced rate so if you wish to upgrade contact me for pricing. Since the room rate is based upon double occupancy, you have your choice of a king size bed or two queen size beds. I would suggest that you visit their site on line to see the amenities offered. www.orleanscasino.com
For those participants whose significant others do not participate in the parties and cruises, there is free shuttle transportation from the Orleans to most spots on the strip. Saturday evening to the Hofbrau House transportation will be provided from the Orleans and back again by the Orleans shuttle service.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY MAY 20TH

from 3pm until 8pm

Meet and Greet in the west parking lot of the Orleans Event Center. You must check in here to be elgible for the Rotary Show and to receive your WHiV4 douments. Swag will be on sale at the table as will raffle tickets. Cut off for the Rotary Show entry will be 7pm
(area subject to change due to event center booking).

ROTARY SHOW

Starts at 4pm until 7:30pm
Event area subject to change due to rental of the Orleans Event Center
This year a rotary show will be held in the parking area adjacent to the Meet & Greet. There will be several categories depending upon the cars registered prior to the event. Repus, old school, 7s and 8s will be judged separately. 7s may be broken up into fist, second and third gen vehicles if preregistration shows a sufficient number. All rotary cars will be eligible for trophies. Cut off for the judging will be 7:30pm

PARTY AT THE ORLEANS

Starts at 8pm until 12 midnight
The party will be in the Presidential Penthouse Suite and will be BYOB on libations with chips and dips supplied by WHiV4. The Orleans has a liquor store on site for any libation you could desire. Please be advised that you will be required to wear the ID that was issued at the Meet & Greet area

SATURDAY MAY 21

ANNUAL CRUISE
(location to be named)

NO HOST LUNCH AT THE ORLEANS
buffet

RAFFLE FOR GOODIES
(during & after lunch)

TRADITIONAL GET TOGETHER AT THE HOFFBRAU HOUSE
8pm until 11pm:

A No Host Dinner is served and prices range from $10.00 and up for traditional German faire and the beer flows at all times. A German band plays and the noise, laughing and crying from the group almost drowns out the band. If you remember in years past, parking is a problem at the Hoffbrau House so this year there will be two easy alternative ways offered to get to the Hoffbrau House. A free shuttle service will be offered by the Orleans to and from the location (tip extra). Again this year there will be Limo Service available from the Orleans to the Hoffbrau house and back again. The limo service .... details upon request

SUNDAY MAY 22

Scenic Cruise

10am until 12 noon:

We will have a short cruise to Red Rock and it will take less than 30 minutes to get there and there is a paved, 13 mile, one-way scenic drive (open from dawn to dusk), within the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area boundaries. There is a fee for using this road of less than $10.00 (should be $7.00 but you know the park service). Very Scenic, very twisty and a good place to say good by to Las Vegas. The end of the loop is within 5 miles of the express way in case you are leaving after the cruise

End of WHiV4...Hope you all had a good time

PARKING

Orleans is providing an area that will be watched very closely in the West Parking Garage. We will be parking in the area where the executives of the Hotel park. It is well patrolled and the cameras do work. Security is planning on having a foot patrol thru the parking area along with random vehicle patrols.

In the coming weeks we will update the art work and post some additional information on the meet.
Swag will be available after the first of the year as soon as the new graphic design is ready.

Please note we need commitments from those planing to attend and what they are bringing so we can insure to have the right trophies, we'll need atleast 6 per group example Repu's to qualify (we are expecting the local yellow one, so just 5 more :) . Again registeration is accomplished by either booking a room or pre-ordering a WHiV4 shirt on the www.whathappensinvegasmeet.com site <~~ admin/mod hope that was ok, will remove if need to,

anyone interested but I was not clear with any of the info feel free to email me at 13x@sincityrotary.com

Wow, this sounds like a blast! Wacky hit-me-up on this and am contemplating on going.
Btw, would that "local yellow one" be Shaun's '77 REPU?

we'll be ordering the trophies soon but don't have the 6 Repu's to qualify the class

So if you intend on coming either book your room at the Orleans (note time so running low to assure the event rate)or order an event shirt and that will register you.

Look forward to seeing some of the fine ppl I was able to chat with at SS13 and once again see their super cool Repu's

Yeah but I would have taken that over yard work and getting sunburned doing that.
Sounded like a great event.

Look for WHiV5 info to be posted soon as the dates and locations are set. This year should prove to continue to move WHiV up the list of "must attend" events.

Hopefully we can see more Repu's this year as there should always be a good representation of them at a rotary show and I am sure you guys are also into having a good time :)

I'd like to add this year should also prove to be very family friendly
