New Purchase
Hey everyone my name is Scott, i have had several Rx7's (1st and 2nd Gens)today i am going to pickup a 1974 Rotary Pickup and cant wait to get it. I will post some pictures up ASAP and will probably have some questions as well.

Hey Scott, welcome to the club! I just recently obtained a 74' Repu myself. This is a great to place to get advises, leads and pointers! Post up some pics when u can....

So i picked it up and I couldnt be happier.. GREAT condition and it runs awesome. On my way home I hit a MOOSE... now the truck is not so great. the top is smashed in and the passenger fender/door/bed is dented up.

im good, Thank you. Im pulling th motor and trans and putting it in my starlet. unless someone has a passenger door, fender and a complete top half of the cab they can spare.... other than that I will be parting out :( its a shame because it was in GREAT shape.

Just an update, I just picked up a complete 74 Courier. Im goign to pull the cab off the courrier and put it on the Mazda frame. Then im goign to transplant some parts and I should be good to go.. (I hope)

I hope it will, im not sure exactly how easy this should go or how long it should take but I hope it all works out. Has anyone done this before? any pointers?

The cabs have some minor differences, but it should be fairly easy for you. Make sure you reuse or fabricate new cab mounts.
Just curious, but it sounds like you found a decent running truck, then hit a moose of all things, then went out and found a decent Courier?? Where the heck are you?

I know it sounds crazy but i am in Alaska. This is the last place i thought any of these vehicles would be but they are out here. (People just park them because of the extreme colds)

What worked for me is I put out a WTB Add on craigslist and got a call back FAST.
