Awesome job! Time to turn my 77 daily driver into a project. Thanks for the inspiration.

Are your front brakes custom hubs or from what donor? I see Aerospace everywhere, what is that? You guys on the east coast have the best machinists for sure.

Alright, so I have to ask. What is the "skateboard" look, anyway?

Very nice job with the truck - it looks incredible. I'd like some info on the headlights if you have it.

I think "roller skate" is more appropriate than "skate board" but essentially it means that the wheels stick out further than the fenders. Some like the look, some don't.

this is a kit that is similar to the one i used. i cannot find a link to the kit that i used for my truck. sorry. any chevy kit will work. just make sure that they are real glass not plastic. make sure they come with the wiring harness and make sure bulbs are included.

Just call or send aeropsace an e-mail (727)-347-9915 sales@aerospacecomponents.com

they have all the specs on our truck and can fab up a kit for the front in about 2 weeks. They are one of the best companies i have ever worked with. great customer service. i was installing the kit on my truck late friday night. i called the office at about 7PM and got one of the techs to answer my question. then he gave my his cell number because he was leaving the office for the night just in case i had further questions! Awesome!

The brakes were $895 to my door. Hardware, brake lines, nickel plating, two piece rotors vented drilled. i got the works so i am sure it would be a bit cheaper if you did not get all the options i did. brakes are 100% bolt on.

Update, lowered the truck in the front, rubs a little under flull lock but i think a smaller tire will make the issue go away.

here are some pics at an anual rotary meet that we have here in South Florida, some of the pics are "doctored" by photoshop but i thought i would share nonetheless.
