Differences

Hi there
I'm wondering if there are any differences between 74,75,76&77 ?
Can I use all parts mixed between the years?
I do have a workshop manual for the 74 and I know there is a different one for the 75. so what has changend in the manual and what is different on the truck?
Does anybody know the details?
Thanks and have a nice weekend, capi

Yes, there are differences, especially when it comes to electrical. That will probably be the most difficult area to mix and match in. The '77 seems to be the most different from the rest, electrically speaking. The '77 also has some different sheetmetal.

Engine, trans, suspension and brake parts (with the exception of emissions bits) are more interchangeable.

The neat changes they made for 1977 is 3 inches of legroom
and a strong 5 speed that stand out to me.
