Heat always on?? Also suspension ??

Hey guys,

In my pursuit of doing some minor repairs to the REPU this winter/spring I am trying to figure out why even with the dash lever on the cold setting I get heat coming out of my HVAC system. Could it be the water valve that I see from time to time for sale on ebay? If not what else can I look for?

Also is there a trick to getting the bushings off the lower control arm for replacement? I have the lower arm off, and bought new bushings for my suspensio rehab, but have not had much luck getting the bushings off the arm yet. Maybe it is because I am just nervous about wrecking the shaft, and not being able to get another. Any help on these questions is greatly appreciated.

Chris

Yes the heater valve is not closing. Either the valve failed internally (there is plastic in there that can crack) or the wire that leads to it is loose or out of adjustment. BUy the heater valve from ebay.

The old bushings have to be pressed out. New pressed in.
