gone in 60 seconds

Hello all,

I am new to the REPU world,as a matter of fact I don't even have one YET,but hope to soon.I was going through my DVD's tonight and came across my copy of gone in 60 seconds(the original)from 1974(great year by the way).Well I'm not sure how many of you know of the original(most in CA probably do)but in it there are a few scenes that take place at Torrance Mazda, and in the scenes you get a good look at some old mazda trucks(no rotary trucks as far as i saw though),and cars(even some with fabric sunroofs). This movie is great.I can watch it over and over again. If you get a chance rent(if possible) or buy like i did a few years ago.You won't be dissapointed. The acting is cheesy but the driving is awesome, and the fact the guy who made the movie(H.B. Halicki)does all his own stunts is great.A don't miss in my book.Way better than the Nic cage crap of a few years ago.

Sorry if this has been brought up before.

Happy rotoring
Chris

Thanks for posting!

Could be good news for a CA rotorhead. Camper shell may have saved the bed, and San Berdoo is a pretty dry area... potential for sun damage notwithstanding...

yeah, the chase goes right through a '70s mazda dealership. As i recall, there are advertising rotors hanging from the walls inside the showroom

Awesome movie

I love it.Wish I had a copy,it's hard to find at video stores.I think it's better than the new one in most ways except for technology...
