Modern Compliments?
Was driving my ol' white REPU (replete with unreplaced bashed R front fender) about town yesterday, and was looked over at a light by a younger guy in some american sedan... He says to me, "Hey that's one of those 'pimp trucks', isn't it?" I didn't quite know how I should take that, but I responded with, "Actually, it's a Mazda rotary pickup... do ya like 'em?" He said, "Yeah, especially if you put like a 13BT in 'em..."
A few seconds later, the conversation was over, as the light turned green, and I was gone.
Guess 'pimp truck' is a compliment, these days! :)

I've had one person locally know what my truck was (other than my Rx7 friends) and he too thought it should have a turbo in it.
The saddest part is one day i was in the truck and pulled up and passed a 3rd Gen 7 (so he could see my tailgate) I said "Thats a beautiful car" to him, and he snubbed me.
