rotorgear t-shirt..

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a rotorgear t-shirt. It's a NZ based company that does rotary items, like key chains, t-shirts, etc..

I know the owner, so I could get us something’s shipped over here if anyone is interested.

wow . . .

I'd REALLY like something with oldschool mazda logo or something like that. I'm interested but I'm not much of a t-shirt kind of guy, so I'd like it to be cool if I'm going to buy a t-shirt or something.

For sure I'd like to know more, thanks.

Wow, what's up with the "MADAZ" keychain?

http://www.rotorgear.com/k_madaz_b.htm

That's pretty neat.

I have the rotor keychain and its pretty awesome. I keep the RX-7 key on that one.

All the keychains are pretty cool IMO. The gasket keeps cracking me up.

Looks like we've found out man for reproduction REPU badges and emblems fellas. Probably he wouldn't think to undertake it on his own since we've got 99.9% of the world's REPUs here in the US.

What say we get together figure out what we need the most and make a special request and get a quote?

It’s a long story about the "MADAZ" keychain. I was talking to him about that one last night
Ill have him tell you guys about it.

I want to get one of his solid sterling silver Rotor Necklace http://www.rotorgear.com/images/neck-b.jpg

As for reproduction badges he might be interested. I just sent him a Rotary wagon badge not to long ago and got some really neat stuff from him in return. Like one of his t-shirt, Savanna Key Ring, fast fours mag, and some other lil things. He was looking for about a year and a 1/2 before I got him one. He is going to make repo Rotary wagon badges down there for the people that make there 808 wagons in to rx3 wagons.

The t-shirt is all black, with his logo on the front.
http://www.rotorgear.com/images/rg_tee_s.jpg

Here is a jacket design too, its in the works, don’t know if he will make anything like this. Just an idea that is getting passed around.

Hi from Rotorgear in New Zealand, I'm the guy Kick was refurring to.
I'm open to any suggestions for product lines, just post on here or drop me an e-mail.

MADAZ ... how that can about, quite a few guys were cutting the badges and regluing them, so I figured ...why not make a key ring.

What we can really use is a Rotary Engine PickUp shift knob. Something with a rotar on it and perhaps Rotary Power and/or mazdarepu.com written around the rotor. Just an idea.

Or mabye even the old school white and blue m Mazda logo. I bet many people with Rx-2/3/4/Cosmo/R100's would buy that and even 1st gen rx7 guys too.

Can you make shift knobs?

Thanks,

I hear ya, Brad...

...the project's been on my back burner for far too long... I still hope to move it along sometime soon, but we will see what funding, etc., will allow... sorry to disappoint, so far!

No prob Klaus. I know how busy things get, especially with REPU's that need restoring! Just looking for another possibility.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Gear shifter knobs, hadn't thought of that.

There are some legal issues as to using the "Mazda" name and logo, so I am trying to get those sorted through Mazda Japan.
A long and involved process, but I'm hanging in there for a positive outcome.

Yes, I do t-shirts in XL.

That could take a long time to never to work out! If so I'd pay for a shift knob with a rotor and mazdarepu.com on it and I'd bet others here would too!

Here's a challenge to all you artists, e-mail me your design for a gear knob. sales@rotorgear.com
If I put that design in production, yours will be posted to you ...FREE.

Maybe it could be judged by fellow Forum members ?.

I hate to say it but the only thing I'm interested in is this:

White on that anodized blue to be exact.

I know that puts you in deep shit with Mazda, but if you ever get the clearance I'd happily buy one.

For me this is the best logo mazda has ever had (though really, it wouldn't be hard to trump the logos from the last ten years or so... "flying M"? Gimme a break.) and I'm just not interested in anything else for my truck.

Course I'll probably be happy to purchase one of yours until I can get what I really want.

Heh, I think manufacturing, advertising and shipping to another hemisphere sort of takes away any sort of "oops" defense.

Still, if I can find those anodized blank shifter knobs I wonder if I could take it to one of my local engraver type stores and have them put the M on it.

my hand isn't that big!!

About Mazda...they really shouldn't care.

1) that emblem hasn't been on their car's since the 70's.
2) they are never going to produce repro items in the low
quantity needed.
3) blocking others from reproducing only angers the diehard
rotorhead....who....are their most likey customsers for
the RX8

but if you do ask them for permission, it will probably take years to sort out.
