I just got this Courier pickup with a blown head gasket on the 1.8 that is in it. I was wondering if anyone knows if a much later 2200 5sp combo will bolt in this truck, and if it wont what will besides a rotary. Also wondering about Mazda transmission bolt patterns, anyone know what fits what? Can I bolt a 5speed to the 1.8? I also have a 94 Escort 1.9 FI, Is there any rwd trans that will bolt to that engine so I can stick it in my truck? Any info is much appreciated!!!
