WHO has pictures of oil cooler mounting

I need some pictures of how the oil cooler mounts to radiator.

My 74 came with a 12a oil cooler and Rx4 oil cooler brackets. The 12a mounting ear on pass side was bent outward to fit the bracket.

I now have a Rx4/REPU oil cooler but the mounting ears are two inches shorter than my 12a cooler. Was there some sort of L shaped oil cooler bracket or something? The Rx4 brackets I have are straight. Flat. No bends. 2" too short.

Oil Cooler Brackets

Hello Brad,
I don't have any pictures but if you come up empty handed I can mail you a drawing for them.

I'll give it a try...

Here is the Drivers side. Pass is just the same, except opposite.

I need at least one new one. The rubber things are no longer bonded to the metal.

thanks a million klaus

that's exactly what i needed.

repu oil cooler tabs are bent at 90* whereas the rx4 one i have does not have a bend. just straight up tab.

i'll need to fab some brackets to make rx4 cooler work.

jeff i found some nice rubber oil cooler brackets. big fat round rubber stubbers. but they use 1/4 - 20 coarse threaded nuts so i had to tap my radiator mounting nuts. worked fine. threaded right in. and i got nylox nuts and grade 8 washers for it all too. i'll have pictures in a few weeks. they were about $6.50 each + nylox and washer.

once i have pictures i'll post where to get them.
