GSL-SE EFI in 1977 REPU????
I remember someone saying that they had a GSLSE 13B in a REPU. The engine in my 1977 REPU isn't that great and I have the chance to buy a wrecked 1985 GSLSE for $200. I would like to keep the fuel injection. What portions of the GSLSE 13B will I need to swap? Will the 1979 RX-7 trans work with the SE motor? What other parts will/will not work?
I going out tomorrow to see if I can get the SE engine to start.

Yes indeed...
You'll want everything connected to the motor, basically everything except, perhaps, the radiator...
Intake, exhaust, emissions stuff, ECU, wiring harness(es) --everything.
I do believe the earlier trans. bolts right up.
Good luck getting her running, and scoring a good motor!

I used to have a REPU with a GSL-SE 6-port. I believe the stock fuel injection will put out aroud 130 HP. I was running a Dellorto carburator setup and was getting 180 HP from the same engine. You could probably covert to the dual leading direct fire ignition mod that jeff20B does to the distributer. Good luck.
