Single piece driveline

Anyone out there running a single piece driveline???
I broke another tranny so finally in process of upgrading to a T-2 tranny. I would really like to upgrade to a single shaft. Any info would help. I'm working with a local driveline shop. Interested in specs for anyone with single shaft. Aluminum or steel? and what diameter???
Thanks.
