axle specs.
Anybody have info. on the REPU's axle spline count, width, and length? I'm trying to resource compatability w/other makes/models and/or get some new axles made with the 5x120 lug pattern. I have some Epsilon wheels I'd like to use on my truck. Any info./input would help. Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge...
...they're unique to the model. REPU axles are most definitely
unique among Mazda *rotary* cars & trucks. But, go ahead... pull an axle, and let us know what you come up with. You can probably guess my opinion on making a Chevy out of a REPU, though...

Unique indeed. Yeah, looks like I'm gonna have to pull an axle and visit a machine shop and/or driveline/axle specialist to see what we could come up with. Just curious to know if anybody has done this sort of thing?

I'm sure it has.
People have also put 4-links underneath, tubbed, and put in narrowed Ford (is it 8" or 9"?) rearends... etc., etc., etc. .
There are other threads here about rearend mod's I would consider more worthwhile, and appropriate, as well... such as putting in a LSD to get the power down, etc.
The stock REPU axles are sufficient to handle plenty of power. Have yet to hear of anyone breaking an axle -- though it is possible to destroy the stock pumpkin.
The stock 6-bolt pattern is part of the unique character of these trucks...
