Dash Lights On?

Ok, guys. I pulled my 4 port out to rebuild (trucks been sitting and she smoked like you would not believe around 4K) and tossed in a S3 13b 6 port motor to get her back on the road. Tossed in on a DCOE45 for fuel and she is back up and running.
The problem is right now the dash lights are staying on and my battery is not charging. Swapped out regulators with my 79sa and did not fix. Pulled fuse block and cleaned it, pulled regulator plugs and cleaned.
Right now im at a loss. Also for some reason the wipers dont work. Headlights do, fan does, turns do, horn does, etc....

Any help? Anyone had this before?
Thanks

Definitely suggest upgrading old external regulated stock alternator with s-4 or s-5 rx-7 alternator. These are internally regulated. Great mod to do.

These were very a big help figuring it out. Had to install a jumper on the 6-pin connector to the external regulator.

yes guys those are great upgrades that most of us do asap.
before I start swapping everything over I want to correct the issues I have now.
I might end up back all stock once motor is done with one exception and that is a electronic dizzy and a Yaw Carb.

We will see as all that is down the road......but really liking the 20B swap with an automatic tranny

ok, swapped out alts, and regulators. Still nothing so started at alt and traced back to fuse block. Found one terminal that is loose. Added zip tie and wow the dash lights are gone!

I HATE the fuse block assembly these trucks have. I installed a custom relay box with blade fuses on dedicated circuits because i was sick of poor connections on the buss fuses. I also upgraded to electronic ignition...DLDFIS, great upgrade. The main purpose of my wiring mod was to remove amperage out of the ignition and combo switches and get rid of the fuse block. A real pain but great way to really understand the truck wiring.
