Repu Motor Mount
Hello all, I have a 75 repu which is my weekend cruiser (79 sa22c daily) and after driving to a local car show I noticed the shifter was swaying. Upon inspection I noticed the drivers side motor mount came up easily and is broken. Both top and bottom are tight but once loosened they are separated and require replacement. Is the stock item/1st gen mount work or am I stuck using the diy hockey puck replacement? Thanks in advance for having a site for us repu people. I may need a trans mount too but I'll deal with the motor mount for now.

Do you still need a fan shroud? I never heard back from you.

Racing Beat sells competition versions of both. You should get them. I did. Amazing. feels like a new truck. Actually, the recent modern crappy trucks out there makes me realize mine is better than new.

I realize it has been months since most have responded in this thread but I was wondering. Sdrotary, what suspension mods have you done to get your repu to the height it is currently at? also what are the wheel and tire specs on your truck?
I recently acquired a 79 repu and will be restoring it, one of the first mods I would like to do to it though is new wheels and tires as well as lowering it.

It is sadly sitting on cut Springs (previous owner) brad on this forum sells coilovers for our trucks though. I believe the rims are 15x6 and 15x7 respectively with 205s in the front 225s in the back. Hope that helps. I did get my motor mounts and a trans mount from a 79 rx7 for anyone who cares later. You can see her and my 1st Gen a ss16 next week.

Interested in driving up to SS together with two other repu's?
Maybe we can meet up somewhere in North County and drive up north to meet the rest of the guys?
