Question for Dan with the Turbo Truck
Dan, When you installed the Turbo II engine in the truck I noticed that you had to fabricate motor mounts. Was that because you used the Turbo II transmission. I have an opportunity to aquire a Turbo II and was wondering about how hard the swap was. You can email me privatly if you would like. Thanks for the advice in advance. Charles crgj@comcast.net

Yes, and even with the engine sitting 2 inches forward, the gear shifter barely fits in the stock location.

OK Dan, Now I got a Question for you, I am doing the T@ swap but I am gonna carb it for now.. ANyway, I was wondering if you have had any trouble with the heat of the turbo heating up the front suspension, or hitting the cover right next to it.. I also want to know if you were able to mount the tranny parallel with the frame or did it kind of angle upwards. Nice Job on that truck..
