We all need the bumper...

...well, almost all of us anyway, it seems! Take a look at Craig's headlight bezels on Ebay, if $$$ is no problem... 'rechroming' (vacuum metalizing) these bits isn't cheap! (Unfortunately).
Go back in the repro. valance thread to find the Pineapple contact info. --I think it's in there, if not, I'll get the # for you-- I dunno if they're still available, or if there'll be more on the way...
If not, I *might* consider selling one of the three I bought, at some point...

There really aren't any 'new' valances...

...out there, anywhere. Perhaps the most 'unobtainable' NOS or 'good' condition original REPU sheetmetal part of 'em all... (nevermind the 'splitter' companion piece that backs 'em up)...
Hence the run of fiberglass reproductions. I wouldn't expect Rob to spend time here surfing your posts... I'm guessing that www.pineappleracing.com is a valid link ?
You'll want to contact Rob directly to inquire.
When we all went in on the run of 'em, they came to just over $100/piece...
Expect to spend $175, or more, for a 'secondhand', brand-new reproduction valance panel...(provided one of us can be persuaded to let go of one)...
If you EVER locate a straight original steel one... they have been known to bring in excess of $300 on Ebay...(!)
Now, about insurance companies, and what they know about, and how much they're willing to pay for repair of a REPU...:
1.) Insist on original Mazda parts whenever possible!
2.) When the Mazda part is unavailable, and where applicable/acceptable, a Ford Courier part may still be found 'New Old Stock'--nevermind these bits are all classified as 'obsolete'...
3.) You might do some extensive research on the 'net to document parts availability/unobtainability, and to establish collector/classic value. Perhaps some of our better-connected members could assist with a Mazda corporate connection?
4.) Don't let 'em finagle you into a half-ass repair!

....

have not made a claim, but reported to both insurance ....

but the one that backed into me <while waiting in drivethrough line @ bank> did not want claim and said would cover ... her brother works @ body shop and suggested there ... which theyt said"noprob" ---->RIIIIIGHT! i said if you can find great but good luck, then they said "no prob" will just heat and bend---> and i said f*** u .... that will ruin the value so i am on the hunt ... wish somebody had one laying around or collecting dust or whatever ... i couldn't believe my repu got backed into ... broke my feelings :( so i don't know what to do but keep searching and hopefully down road she will still cooperate without trouble when i do find something ....

Sounds like now

..you need the proverbial 'three best' quotes on a complete, PROPER repair job...
You might want to begin by establishing that there IS, indeed, a collector market for REPU's, and that they do actually have value above and beyond, say, a ford courier of the same vintage's blue-book listing...
Next, get written estimates from the three BEST body shops in your area. Price should be no object--you want the TOP three estimates!
Next, in your best 'official' writing style, you need to send certified mail to the person who hit you 'demanding' (yes, this is a technical must!), that they take full financial responsibility for the incident. (This is in preparation for a possible small claims case.) Remember: You cannot sue their insurance Co., no matter what runaround/lowball BS they tell you!!! That's because you have no contract with them. You can, however, sue the insured...(and they can turn around and sue their own Co. for breach of contract, if they won't come through in an acceptable fashion).
All that's in case they won't take care of you properly. Of course, it's difficult to imagine that any insurance Co. would do more than try to lowball the repair, or just say that it's 'totalled', based on a supposed utter lack of value...
I wish you luck!

Klaus is 100% right on the money with what he is telling you, beware of "repair shops" that haven't taken the time to try to source the parts.... in otherwords ask them if they are replacing the parts or repairing the ones you have. Given the rarity of the parts you need they might have to repair the ones you have. Many of the generic repair shops will book out the job.... in other words they will say that a USED bumper costs 50$ (the average of most older bumpers) and a lower valance would cost 50$ time to R/R both would be roughly 2 hours (cause that is what the book says) paint work on the valance is about 2 hours so they would say something like the whole repair is less than $500. I had this twice within a month when my wife and I were both hit in our Cosmos, we fought it then they wanted to total the cars out as the "book value" was less than the repair value. My best friend became the Hemmings they showed 3 Cosmos for sale in a 6 month period all for over 6k each much more than the 1750 book value. The other statement that will help is replacement value if they try to total the vehicle ask them to find a comperable replacement (same year, make, model, condition) doing this will cause them to realize that they are not easy to find nor is the value as low as they think. Last item should they total it ask to keep the truck they will take a portion off of your settlement but you would also have all that stash of spare parts or a rebuildable truck(yes i know we are only talking about a bumper and valance) Good luck

please just let me know and pics if you can and i will keep in contact ... thank you.I have reported the accident but not made a claim cause the driver said they would take care of out of their own pocket for insurance reasons ... so i am looking and playing by ear up to this point.Let me know what you wold want for bumper .. and other pieces depending on what you have.

All depends...

...on who the plastic surgeon is! Could be the same price as a whole 'parts' REPU that happens to have an intact 'nose'...
