Sounds great Brad! Juan doesn't answer my emails, so I look forward to doing business with you. I already have the tailgate lettering in white, so I just need the striping for now.

Still need tailgate lettering

Brad,

Sorry I've been slow getting back..... Changed jobs and living locations. I still need tailgate lettering. What is current price and delivery and payment method? Standard white with black trim is fine.

Thanks,

Rob

Finally got it setup!

1 set of complete tailgate lettering. The "Rotary Power" is white with black outline, cost = $31.00 and the "Mazda" logo gray letters with a black background is $20.00
That is the colors their setup however if anyone wants custom colors I can do that to no extra charge. I can take V / MC / AMEX and ship anywhere in the US for $8.00. If you want them email me @ bradc@prismvinyl.com or call me at 1-800-482-1801
Thanks,

Brad C.

like the ones below? I want to make some bigger mudflaps to accomodate my wider tires.

We can try!

However I'm not for sure that my vinyl will stick to the rubber mud flap material. I think the letters that are on there are a paint or silk screen.
If you want to try my stuff I'll charge you $10.00/ech + shipping.
Let me know what you'd like to do.

Way Cool!!!!

I'm in for 4 of them. That way I'll have a backup set just in case.

Any hints on how to prep the rubber mud flap appreciated.

Do you have the font and dimensions Brad?

For mud flaps I wonder if riveting or gluing (gorilla glue?) a piece of black plastic and adhering the stickers to that would be better? I cant imagine vinyl stickers on rubber mud flaps being very permanent if for no other reason than the flexing of the flap.

Rubber flexes; so does Vinyl...

...perhaps it comes down to the bond between them?

I dunno, but I'd scrub, degrease, rinse, rinse, rinse, and dry carefully... then apply with 'whatever' (?) is the state-of-the-art flexible, clear bond between 'rubber' (are they really, actually rubber?), and vinyl.

You are Correct!!!

In that the vinyl will infact flex with the substrate it's applied to. However it all depends on the chemical makeup of the rubber. In my experience some rubbers have more oil in them and tend to not work as well as others. You are correct in theat clening them again and agin is the best thing to do, I would use acetone or denatured alcohol. If anything is going to help, that will.
I do have the artwork however I need a size. Can't find that you gave me that already.
Thanks,

Brad C

I'd also wonder...

...about drying out the old mudflap material 'too' much. ?

I have a friend well versed in silkscreening flatware (not T-shirts!) the old-fashioned way (not digitally); I *could* ask him about the possibilities of successfully re-screening the logo...
