Stupid question

On the wing wondow section of the door frame (outside), there are 4 holes. The lower, bigger holes are for the wing window bracket. There are two smaller holes at the top.
I disassembled this truck two years ago, can't remember what goes there for the life of me.
What the heck goes there?

window frame

On the forward side of the frame, nearly even with the top of the door, are two big holes (csk),they are for the screws that go to the door, On the inside of the frame, over the vent pane are two little holes. These two little holes are for the top hinge screws (csk) for the vent pane. Hope tyhat's what you were talking about.

Are you talking about the threaded holes for the towing mirrors? My REPU has those holes but I dont think it ever had the tow mirrors.

The ones I mean are on the outside of the door frame (visible when the doors are closed). They're right there on the forward section of the vent frame. Two lower holes for the bracket, then two smaller ones just above.
Still not sre what they're for, maybe I need a closeup pic of someone's if they'd be so kind.

Holes

OK,in the gallery, in Orvilles album I posted a shot of Craig's truck with the mirror on it. Are the holes you are taking about, just about where the top attach bracket is?

Yep, that's the exact spot, the top of the mirror bracket, Guess I was confused because mine came with these little bitty crappy mirrors.
Know where i can get mirrors such as those pictured?

Mirrors

Those mirrors were dealer installed items, but made for Mazda and are extremly (as in made from un-obtanium) rare.
I have been thinking about trying to adapt (Means making attach brackets, etc.) a set of Retract mirrors,Jr.west coast assemblies, P/N 611706 LH & 611708 RH.
The link to the page is;

See what ya think.
