Tonneau Conver

On a whim, while at pepboys today, I bought a Tonneau cover... it was a generic one for "small trucks/mini trucks". I was fully planning on returning it after I got it home, as I though it would be too big. Guess what? it fit perfectly! So I did the drilling, put on the velcro adhesive, and now, I have a nice cover. The one thing it is lacking is supports in the center, so it kinda sags, but those can be bought online.

I'll get the name of the company, and a part number off the box if anyone is interested.

Yeah!

I'm building a Tonneau cover out of thin plywood. I'll need something to cover the plywood so I'll probably get a regular tonneau cover and stick it on it or something. I 'like the ability to stand or even lay on my friend's plywood tonneau cover.

bed cover

I bought two of them from JC Whitney about 10 years ago. They were designed with little PVC pipes sewn in the cover between the bed side hooks cut outs. When you fit the cover to the bed you can then draw the little rope that passes thru the PVC pipes around the hooks and bungee it between the bed and the cab. JC Whitney also had supports for the center of the cover as you ride down the road. Or when it rains. I have had about 20 gallons of water that got caught in mine once, so those supports will help.

I've got a hard tonneau cover for my REPU. Its fiberglass and strong I've stood on it no problem, the guy I bought it from said he and his buddy would put lawn chairs on it and watch the races. I just need to add struts to it so it'll stay up on its own.

My friend has plywood under the tonneau on his s-10 but it didn't take very long for the wood to warp. You might want to get press board or some plastic composite material.

Do you have the make model and part number for that tonneau?

What are it's length x width measurements?

Any pictures of i installed?

Thanks,

It has been a while, so the box is long gone.

As per measurements, simply measure our truck bed! and add maybe a 1/2 inch to the width.

I haven't had it on for a while. Got to find it!
