Tool Box

I am getting ready to buy a truck box of the back off an old Ford Ranger. This is the a full size box that sits down on the frame where the bed used to sit. I plan on using it sometimes in my buiseness. Does any one know the rear end width or know wher I can find the width of the Ranger rear end. I may be able to set up a dually if the size is right.

Bed replacement

Is this a bed replacement? or something that fits in the bed?

I would imagine it could be setup to fit ok, but some drilling might be required, if it replaces the bed.

Heavy Duty

It replaces the bed. It has the tool boxes running the length of the bed mounted above each tire with an enclosed corgo holding area between the boxes. Ladder racks + heavy duty bumper perfect for mounting a vise or water cooler. Serious commercial duty set up. Best part is its in miniature, like my REPU.
Yes, I can't wait to get the tape measure out and then start whittling and cutting. I have a spare 74' truck that has a rotted bed, but has a good cab. The low gear of the 74' really helps too...
If I can negotiate with the current owner of the bed a $ figure we can both agree on then it's on. And my turbo project is off, for a while at least. When its done I'm gonna work the hell out of it.
Does anyone know what the little green icon I selected on the left is? I don't.

I have now moved the tool box to the back burner beside the homemade turbo. I am saving everything I have to go to "Bike Week" in Daytona in March.
