Air Intake Panel

OK, so the 'repro valance' thread's gotten a bit long, so I'm asking this question here:
How many of us want/need a reproduction 'air intake panel' as well (as the valance)? You all know the piece I'm talking about... it's the complementary one to the valance... that panel that directs the airflow where we need it to go.
We would need a certain number of takers to get that made, so here's the place to post if you're up for it! Price, naturally, will depend on numbers as well...
Any takers?

I'm in for at least 2

I'm interested and would be willing to go for 2. Does anyone have a good one to take to a sheet metal shop and get a repo done. I know some sheet metal workers and I think they could do something like this even the support straps. Keep me informed. I'm in. Charles

Yea, I've got a NOS panel in the shop...

I will either loan it for the project, or take it to a shop for copy. I was thinking a remake would be glass, but I guess a metal can be had as well. I think glass would probably be cheaper though.

Whatever, I am in as well, and I have a panel for copy.

Just a bump

to give this thread another chance... Not that I'm in any great hurry or anything, but it's the companion piece to the valence, so I would think more of us would be interested... If not, so be it--but if you're into it, post away!

I'm interested in one made from fiberglass.

One comment about the front valance, it would be nice to have the bolts/studs built in so there are better lines to the looks.

i am in you didn't have to really ask on that one depending on final cost and material made from i would be interested in more than for the 3 valances i am in for, as i have trucks with good valances but not the splitter.

Last think I talked to Rob@Pineapple about was the air intake panel.

He's going to try and get it done, but will go for strength, instead of looks... since it gets so messed up so often.

Let you all know when it's done.

Cool!

Cost-effective is important, too... but some extra strength to back up our repro valances with--nevermind efficient cooling function--are important considerations.
Thanks for the update!

Yeah, I'd take one or two myself...

After a long-overdue perusal of the forum (been off for months and months), I saw this about the splitter. I am in for two valances with Rob @ Pineapple, so I might as well put myself down for at least one, maybe two (dependent on cost).

Chalk it up, Klaus!

Well......

Just curious if this is dead in the water, or if any progress has been made? Anyone talked to Rob lately? Dan?
