Damn!
Roger Beasley's personal collection... (!) Even I have heard of Roger Beasley Mazda...
Betch'a it was/is worth the reserve, and then some.
Too bad it's an automatic! Those tended to last to about 70K...

yea, but I have lots of tranny's....
so that wouldn't keep me away. Although 1500 miles might.
I bet the toll free number might reveal the reserve though....
I wish...I wish..I wish.......Santa!!!!!!

Although it said automatic in the ad,it appeared to me to be a manual transmission. It had a standard H pattern on the shifter, with a normal manual shift boot, and three pedals in it.I think it was just a mis-print.Look at the pictures closer you will see what I am talking about.
On a side note the truck was obiously re-painted,but it doesn't look to be the stock color, unless there were more than one green Mazda used.My truck is green as well, but it is not that shade.Although it is a 74,and that truck was 75 so maybe they changed.

That is a shoddy job on the paint not to do inside the door jams or under the hood.

Then again...
...as far as overall appearances go, I'm always a bit skeptical of smallish pics via the 'net... could look substantially different, in person! Much better, or otherwise...
BTW, Ken--Did you get me email? Make contact with Mike?

Am I seeing things,or does it look like it has a torsion rod type hood prop like a courier?Did the 75's use this system,or did someone change over to this style?I really know little about the 75-77's seeing as I own a 74 that has some stuff on it that isn't stock.

No, your not seeing things.......
as far as the hood prop is concerned. I have a 75 with the same set-up. All my 74's had the standard hinge latches, but my 77's and at least one 75 has the torsion rod. I have a 76 and another 75 that I can't recall ecactly what they have. I haven't seen either in a few months.
And about that shifter, I did see that, but I never read the info up top to see they listed as auto. I do like the a/c though. I can't wait to get my 75 with ac running.
Yea, I guess the paint is a bit cheesy, but still looks like a decent platform. I guess he wants a bit more than we here are willing to pay. He listed as a b-series and might have done better if he used REPU in title.
Klaus, did get email, thanks, but been gone lately. I will email you back later.
I also might have a line on a 75 rx-4 nearby, I need to get more details. If I had more bucks, there is an sp in Cal, that looks nice on ebay, but way to spendy.
