Truck for sale(maybe)

I would consider offers for my 1977 repu. It is in decent shape but I am having fuel problems. It will not run. It will start but not run(for now, still workin it). I also have some decent chrome rims that I have yet to put on her. Make an offer and we can go from there. I want to keep the truck but it takes a lot of time and some money to get them to where they should be.

I live in kansas. I dont have any pictures but I think I can get some. Can you do me a favor. I was looking at my distributor and I am going to get a new cap and rotor and probably some new points, anyway, when I noticed something. There was 2 wires in side bolted to one of the base plate holders and they just dont look like they are hooked up right. Could you take a picture of your distributor if you still have the original or maybe you know what I am talking about. Thanks

Check your electric fuel pump. I had the same problem.

self check

yes, check your pump, and your dizzy wires.if your pump is one of those little square ones youll always have problems,as they get old they get real faulty..

you could always change your dizzy for an electronic dizzy from a series 2 12A rx7..i did, piece of cake.

I've got a little square pump, and it's giving me trouble. I also hooked up several electronic dizzies. A worthwhile mod, for sure.

Unplug your fuel filter and replace it. Blow out your entire fuel line while yer at it. It might be your tank pickup tube. My buddy Mike had this prob. on his 1st gen--he used a bass guitar string for a mini-roto-rooter to clean it out--he thinks it was the 'D' string. Good luck!

I have been working on my truck and now I know that I do not have enough time for it. I was planning on rebuilding the whole thing but I just started going to school again and I dont have time. I will give it away for 200 dollars but you would have to hall it yourself. It is a good truck. I took alot of it apart so you might have a little trouble if you dont know what your doing. I live in topeka kansas and my Number is 785 266-3627. If no one wants it then I will spare it out. I will wait till halloween before I start sparing it out.
