F/S 1975 REPU
It's come time to sell my beloved 1975 REPU. The reason why I'm selling it is because I just bought another car that's more economical and most importantly has A/C. The REPU does get a combined 20 MPG on the highway and in town. I commute about 42 miles round trip and it's heat stroke season coming up and I need to pay the tax, title, and license on my new car. Most importantly, I can't keep the truck in the garage anymore. The truck has been my daily for the past two years. It's fun to drive and I get a lot of smiles and questions from other people when driven. I want it to go to a good home to someone who knows the true historic value of these trucks.
Some facts about the REPU:
Has 1985 12A RX7 engine--Believe me I was disappointed that it didn't have the original 13B or a 13B from a late model RX7. But after driving the REPU my dissapoitment was gone. It has a lot of pickup in the city and on the highway. I cruise comfortably at 75mph-80mph on a regular basis without the truck breaking a sweat.
It has a 1987 Mazda B2200 rearend. The pinion seal and fluid has just been recently changed--no leaks.
It has the 5 speed transmission from a 1985 RX7. Transmission fluid has been recently changed.
Clutch master and slave cylinder has recently been changed with new parts (1985 RX7 parts of course).
Four brand new GoodYear Viva 2 tires was just put on 185/70/R14.
Fuel filter (both of them), air filter, and fuel pump has been changed.
The engine runs strong and doesn't smoke. I change the oil (every 2000 miles) and spark plugs (every six months) religiously. I check the oil level every week and add some when needed.
It has a dent on the passenger rear, there are holes on both doors where the mirrors went. The bottom of the car has been sprayed with a Rhino Lining like substance. There are some rust. It'll be a good daily as is or a good T2 project. The back glass does slide open. There aren't any breaks on any of the glass.
Please e-mail me with any questions at pksukthavy@cox.net. The price is $3,100.00. It's located in NW Arkansas. It will make it/driven home anywhere in the US or Canada.

REPU FOR SALE
It's too bad that you have to sell it. I like the pictures in the photo album, your 2 REPU's side-by-side looks pretty cool. Good-Luck with the sale.

What happened to the battery box?
That bungee'd battery up on the hot side of the engine compartment... that's not cool. (Pun intended...)
...speaking of historical value...

I bought the truck without the battery box. It's a real shame. I also wish I had the original mirrors.

Revised price on the Repu ~$2000.00 OBO--low ballers welcome. Everything else is still the same for the repu. It's garaged at my parents house.
It needs a good home!
Thanks,
PK Sukthavy
