Early '74 :
Found another 'project' REPU yesterday... darn straight, but with a good amount of surface rust, original red paint and single-stiffener tailgate; a 'had it running at one point' odd-fire Buick V-6/ 4-speed overdrive transmission conversion (?!?), intact dash center section w./ radio and ashtray, all trim rings on wheels and taillights, all 4 wheel centers... pretty much all there, except for the drivetrain, (and a trashed headliner) -- and the owner is ready for it to be gone.
I'm guessing $500 or so is his price; he's aware of the parts value, (though rusty, the valance is straight, and ought to be restorable...)... though I think anyone interested in this REPU/this price range would also be interested in one or more of *my* 'project' REPU's for sale... (Hint, hint!)
It's located near Albany, OR. I'm in Eugene.

Since a lot of us appear to have found at least the title of this thread of interest...:
Looks like I'm about to rescue/acquire this REPU -- not that I really have any room or need for *yet* another...
If anyone is seriously interested in this truck, *now* would be the time to respond. I'd rather not go through a whole lot of unnessecary runaround, etc. -- That would only increase the price, as it would my cost, as well.
If that's not happening, at least one of my collection will (sadly)soon be getting parted out.
