Trade my REPU
Hey guys,
I am not totally sure I want to do this, but I think I would like to trade my 74 REPU for a vintage Mazda Rotary coupe, wagon, sedan. The reason being I would like to be able to take my family out in a vintage car,and while the 79 RX-7 has rear seats they are ill-suited for even children like I have. This is due to the rear only having lap belts which I sort of feel funny having my 6 year old use,and I will no way let my 2 year old use.
I think I would like maybe an RX-3 wagon,or ultimatly a RX-3SP,but I am open to almost any model as long as it is pre RX-7,rotary,and in good overall shape. My REPU doesn't need tons of work, and is what I consider a good daily driver, and I regularly do in the nice weather months. I don't want a project car,but I don't mind if it needs some work like my REPU does.
Let me know if you have anything you want to trade,or know of someone who does. Ultimatly I would like to keep it,and get another rotary car,but I am not sure that is possible.
Of course this all could change if we go on strike in August, and then I will just be selling the truck outright, which you guys know of anyway.
I guess the biggest problem with doing this is that I live on the right coast, and all the cool cars are on the left coast,so I guess this is just a shot in the dark, but I thought I would ask.Plus you guys being REPU owners have unlimited rotary knowledge, and contacts that could help me out. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I would also like a RX-5 Cosmo.

Would you consider selling to some one that has been looking for the right truck for years. I do live on the east coast and would love to buy a repu. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Trade?
Chris,
I happen to have a running RX-5 Cosmo (5-speed) here that supposedly had the engine rebuilt about two years ago. Needs some interior help, but nothing too far off. I might consider a trade. Call me at home if you're interested.
Neal.
