1976 REPU in Alabama junkyard
I was at the pull-a-part in Birmingham, AL the other day and saw a REPU there. Motor & trans were gone but it was a real REPU, had the battery box in the side, and the decal on the tailgate. Body rough but may have a few usable parts left. It's been on the lot since 8/15/08, so it may not be there much longer.

We'll Do....
...if my friend ever gets to the yard to inquire about me buying it, that is. He just moved, so he's trying to find the time to go check it out for me. He lives all of maybe 20 minutes from the yard the truck *might still* be sitting at. I'll ask him to get the VIN when he checks it out- if it's still there.
