Other Problem People
I've been following the recent discussions with a good deal of interest. Kansei brought up a name that I too, would like to caution you about.
John Olivera Pino, and all the Aka's
He is Canadian, and I had to threaten contact with the RCMP before he responded. However, he actually called me and was quite polite, and did indeed send my item, but this was almost three months after I had sent him the money.
I also found these aka's all over other car sites.
I'm not saying don't do business with him, but be cautious, there seem to be lots of angry people out there.
Second. Don't buy a truck without a clear Title!! I did this, (like a lot of us have) and it usually is a nightmare.
It took me over a year to claer title, made dozens of phone calls and visited two different state offices. Got in the middle of a divorce settlement the seller didn't disclose, can you imagine!!
If we all quit buying rigs without titles, I'll bet the prices would be a lot more negotiable.
