Wish I could...,
...but I'm not your man for the whole rest of it. But I certainly encourage anyone who can to consider taking it on! If it does come down to it, and you do end up having to part the rest, please let me know. Perhaps I'll be in a position to purchase some/all of the parts I mentioned back when I emailed you... and/or hook up some other guys with parts they need as well.
Don't know if it's becoming more of an option as sevenstock approacheth, but if ya could, it might still be a viable solution, even minus the engine and trans. ...?

What hood prop does it have? If you start ripping it apart I want the hood prop as long as it is not the torsion spring one.

Here's your plan:
First you must have both the time, and the money...(duh!)...at the same time...
Then, you call around and make your very best deal on a car trailer rental...try to get a weekly rate, and make sure they know your business is renting it--it'll likely qualify you for savings. You'll probably still need to get the rental Co.'s owner's permission to take it outta state...
This also asssumes, of course, that you already have a good tow vehicle...
If all of the above is in place...GO! Just don't forget the tie-downs... :)

Tom, if and when
you actually get your hood prop, you'll have to change your byline...! That'll suck. I mean, I commisserate with you and all, but it just won't be the same around here if you don't need a hood prop... :)

hehe, I bet there is something else I need that will be next to impossible to find. Lets see, how about maybe an under-dash A/C unit or maybe factory mirrors?

underdash a/c unit
If you don`t mind using an aftermarket unit vintageair.com has some very nice compact a/c units for the hotrodders that should work in the repu. I was told by rtrypwr that the compressor and evaporator need to have close to the same rating but I can`t remember if it was btu`s or something else. Anyway a good a/c shop should be able to answer that question.

The trim part that goes above the grill that’s on the hood, the grill, if its in good shape, and the front bumper. What would you be asking for each item? I might also want the battery box door too.
thank you,
:)

Actually...
...if you check my post at the top of the 2nd page of this thread, you'll notice a reference to email sent beginning July... But, of course, it's up to Knight who, what, when, and where is for sale... Just my 2 cents; do let me know! Thanks, K.
Oh yeah--just remembered, I've an acquaintance here who needs a dash center section (radio surround)-- so if it's 100% intact, I'd be interested in that also... (be happy to hook you up directly; no need for me to get between your part and the buyer...)--K.
BTW guys--Any parts that I might be ahead of anyone for, that aren't actually better than the part I'm looking to replace, I'll gladly let go to 'next in line'... :)

So the whole truck minus the engine/tranny are leaft?
If so, do you think you would take $250 for it? (that's about all I've got in my pocket right now)

Well fellas i think its time to bump this post and give you guys an update. I decided against selling the drivetrain out of the truck ( i still havent had the heart to tear her apart)but i did go pull the plugs lube her up and spun the motor a couple times(preventative maintenance). Like i said it has 67k miles on the original motor and chasis. I am still looking for trades + cash or a straight up trade if ya got somehting i really need. I am putting together a gslse drag/autox car so let me know what performance stuff you have and lets make a deal. She would love to have a new home for Christmas.
Send me offers at cknight1@satx.rr.com or aim = knight1976rx7
