REPU Front Valence
Well i have a Repu front Valence for sale.
What you see in the pix is what you get.
It is a flat black that has been dulled
by dirt. There is surface rust but that
can be taken care of with a light sanding,
as its not serious. I am taking offers
on it, i have already been offered $120.00
My email is mattrobb22@hotmail.com and I
am more interested in getting RX2 parts then
money for this fine piece. And i forgot that
you cant post pics here so i will have to figure
out how to get one up thanks Matt22

Oh, wow, I think I am interested.....
is there any damage? Fixed or otherwise? scratches are ok, but dents dings, etc..Looks pretty darn good from the pictures, but I prefer a statement on condition just as confirmation.

no dinds or dents, jsut some surface rust. cause it has sat in an enclosed space for a few years. so the condition of it is probably a 9 of 10. Matt22

Unanswered questions...
...of my own notwithstanding, why didn't you tell me you were looking for rx-2 parts?
What kind of rx-2 parts??? Year(s)?
I might could introduce you to the mother of all rx-2 parts sources in Oregon...

Thanks for bringing it over!
It was nice to get a look at it...
Wouldn't mind owning it, but as it's already got a $120 bid, it's probably for someone with better cash flow right now than myself...
That's a very flattering pic of a very good, used valance that's obviously been on a REPU for a good number of years. The remnant of the sticker on the back of it makes me guess it was a factory replacement part many years ago...
In the strictest sense, I wouldn't call it 'mint'. It's the usual small stone chip surface rust on the top of the lower lip of the 'scoop' that's the only bit of rustiness--not bad. There are also a couple'a small dings...
Nothing too serious, though.
This one's in better shape than any of the four steel valances I have.
The only ones better that I've seen pics of had not ever been mounted...
A couple'a hours spent massaging and refinishing would be just the thing for this one!

True 'Dat...
...and, I'd wager still worth at least the 'opening bid' already on it.
What I would identify as the most significant 'issue' is an approximate 3/4" long small indent on what would be the passenger side edge of the 'scoop'...

"Rotary Meet", Ha!
Perhaps I shouldn't be smirking too loud, since I didn't show up in a rotary vehicle, 'but'...
Was it just me, or is that 'rotary meet' rapidly becoming the Chevy V-8 frankenseven club, or what?
I mean, geez, if that's what you want... get a Camaro!

I just got my hands onit the other day.....
and it is in very decent condition, all things considered. I now have 3 new fiberglass, two very nice metal and one brand spanking new OEM one. That is more than I really need.
If anyone is seriously in need of it, email me at nwarms@earthlink.net and we'll talk.

Oh yea, sorry Matt,..............
I guess I could have at least said thanks in my message above.
I met your uncle and he was quite a bundle of car knowledge. He was a very nice man, and he had a wonderful Christmas display mini-town that my daughter would have loved to see.
The valance is probaby my nicest used one, although I must admit I haven't compared them all as of yet. It still has remnants of the sticker on back which tells me it had little time on a truck. A few little dings that will easily hammer out.
Steven, email me about what you need and we'll talk.
Ken
