1976 Mazda B-1600 & Miscelaneous

I have a complete and running Blue 1976 Mazda B-1600 pickup. The body is fairly straight. If anyone was needing an extra truck for parts interchange or a driver, this is available. It is located in Twin Falls, Idaho. I also have several 12A engines, 2 1984 13B engines, 1 1986 13B engine core with ecm, harness, and misc, several mixed years rx-7 5-speed Transmissions, 1 1983 B-2000 5-speed transmission (I was going to see about frank-en-trans to make a B-2000 rotary transmission), and 2 1974 RX-4 transmissions.

I would be interested in some swapping for parts on the side, or a fair REPU rolling chassis with title and origninal engine mounts on the frame. I would like about $500.00 or better for the B-1600, however. I can get pictures, if requested. It has clear title, and I just replaced the head gasket, surfaced the head, and replaced thermostat, upper radiator hose, and alternator belt (Previous owner blew the gasket, and I replaced the small parts as preventitive maitenance). It has good tread on a set of fairly new tires. The drivers door is dented around the handle, and the grille and left headlamp door are cracked, but the fenders, bed, and cab are fairly straight and rust free.

I'd like to see some pics of the B1600. May be interested in buying it from you as a driver.

Thanks,
Neal.

Max,

Thanks. Something tells me that if the owner is taking it tomorrow to Sevenstock, he wants good money for it. I need something cheap, especially since freighting a truck from the west coast runs me about $1k.

Don't forget you're my eyes and ears tomorrow- get me LOTS of pics... especially of all the old school stuff and Cosmo 110Ss.

Neal.

Is the B-1600 currently Titled and Registered to you?

Emailing me pic's=not so great, since I am on dial-up...

Troy,

I still haven't seen any pics. I sent you an email over the weekend (to your juno account) that you could reply to. Did you get it?

pics

took some pics today, and noticed some needed repairs. I am going to be needing a new water outlet - fatique broke off an ear, and it was leaking. (not good for a new head gasket) :( It should be firing back up sometime in the next week or so.

title question

Yes, I do have clear title in my name, with no liens. No, I do not have it registered (aka, plates), but I can transfer or buy plates if need be. In Idaho, plates belong to the person, not the vehicle.

pics on albums

I set up some pics in the gallery.
http://www.mazdarepu.com/Gallery/index.php3?album=Troy+Mueller.

I have the left side, front, and open bed. The closed bed didn't go through, and it does not seem to want to take other pictures at this time. Other pictures taken, but not uploaded are the right side, front close-up, and angled views fron the corners.

I can take some more pictures of the interior, engine bay, and other areas of interest.

Any Interest?

I still have the B-1600. It is complete, and good for parts interchangeability with the REPU.

If there is no interest, I will be selling to a local buyer within the next couple of weeks.
