Parts for my Mazda 1000 Ute
Hi i was just wondering if anyone in Australia could help me out in finding parts for my mazda 1000 at a reasonable price. i need a bonnet& hinges, replacement sills, a grill for square headlights and the bonnet needs to be for square headlihgts too. and also i was looking for a stock 13b no turbo or nothing, i wouldn't be ble to handle it lol. could anyone please let me know, i love my lil 1000.

...and best of luck meeting up with your needed parts. There's only a few Aussie members here, so far... but we could certainly stand to have more of ya 'on board', given the sheer number of oldschool Mazda's you've got down there... (never mind how few REPU's!) One of these years I hope to make it to your continent, if only to visit...

1000 ute bits
hi bettyboop,dont know where my prev reply went,im still new to this! i have a mint original in bits that i dont really want to sell,but everything is for sale.i wont separate any bits but i may be able to get a bonnet and hinges for you.there may be a good tub soon,and i have some other bits like wiper motors and combo switches.let me know what u need.hello to all repu guys,are there any in oz?can a replica be built from a b1600 or is that a bit rude.cheers from shane in cairns.

"As rude as you wanna be!"...Sure, you can build a rotary B1600... but it won't be a REPU. The idea of an actual, bona-fide, true-to-the-original REPU replica is a good one...I like it, but who's gonna go to all that trouble? (If you do, make it lighter, and build it over a full tube frame!) THAT would rip!
As to OG REPU's, I think there's one or two each in OZ and NZ, at this point... (Will our members down under please stand up?)
