Brake master cylinder?
Anybody know where would be a good place to find a new brake master cylinder and reservoir? I know one was just on ebay in the last few weeks but I didnt get to it in time. Mine was replaced with the master cylinder off an RX4. It fits but my REPUreservoir leaks on it, res needs to be replaced any way as it is getting pretty old and rough looking. I either need an rx4 reservoir or an entirely new REPU master cylinder and reservoir. Any suggestions? Any other vehicles that use the same master cylinder?

Brake master cylinder......
I called napa a few months ago. They said they could order one for $108.00 and some change. I ended up getting one from craig of ebay. Good luck!

The one you saw on Ebay
...was being auctioned by vintage imports, I believe? I seem to recall this seller semi-frequently listing these, so there may be more of them available. Also, I've been the winning bidder on some of his items in the past, and he's a good guy to do business with...
You might want to contact him, and see if he has another one for you.

I was able to get a NOS master cylinder from a friend that is for a '75 Courier. It looks exactly the same as the REPU unit on the outside. Does anybody know for certain if these cross reference?

my references indicate that the Courier MC has a 1/8" smaller bore size than the REPU.

I have been such a slacker. I still havent found anything. I just continue to add brake fluid ever so often and complain about it every time. I have a Courier master cylinder and I could just pull the REPU master cylinder off and just see how close they match up. I have been putting that off until winter. When it is 110 out I just have no initiative to tear into things like that. I will definately updatae this thread when I have found a replacement.

WELL, I'M LOOKING FOR A NEW BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER TOO
And have ordered from kragen.com and carparts.com, both sites cancelled my order due to the manufacturer not having any in stock. At all.
Just tried NAPA, we'll see how it goes. After that i'll look at autozone or carquest.

And looks identical to the one on my truck now. Even says 7/8 F R on it too. $124 + tax and shipping.
