What pads for the REPU?

I've read here that RX7 brake pads work with a REPU. What year and model RX7 pads work?

Do the bigger 84-85 GSL-SE pads work?

RX4 had bigger brakes than the 12a RX7s. Do RX4 pads work too?

GSL pads are the ones you must use, Rx4 pads I think are the same shape.

What do they do

for the lifespan of the rotors/drums? Unfortunately also a consideration...

Porterfield R4S are advertised as being rotor friendly. But we gotta realize a harder pad that stopps better will be harder on the rotors.

I looked at my rotors after 40k on them with Porterfield's and they are worn, but not much more than a soft cheap generic pad would wear. Nothing excessive. It's not like it's a Hawk Blue that eats rotors after 4 weekends on the racetrack!

To me a little extra wear for much better stopping and more saftey is worth it!
