What fits and what hits.

I have conducted a semi-thorough trial and error to find what tire/wheel works on a repu. I found a few things that don't work.

This truck is lowered 3 inches in front by cutting the coils/trimming the bumpstops. The rear is lowered about 4 inches by 3 inch blocks and removing the overload leafs and helper leafs. The rear has no bumpstops right now.

First off-I decided on 1995 Nissan Pathfinder 15x7 steel wheels. I have 225/60/15 tires on all 4 corners. The front tires sit all the way inside the fenders and dont rub on the fender lip or inner fender durring lock-to lock full travel. The rears also sits all the way inside the fender and fill them quite nicely.

What does not work:

1. Anything off a Chevy 1/2 ton 4wd truck. 16 inch wheels would have been sweet, but they stick out about 3/4 of an inch past the fenders.

2. Anything off a Toyota 4wd. Good looking wheels, WAY wrong offset.

I would like people with more trial and error knowlegde to post 'What fits and what hits' in this thread.

***GROUND RULES***

1. Nothing sticking past the fender lip on the front. What works on your stock-hieght truck may be a $2000 waste of money on one that is lowered.

2. Please post manufacturer and size, other more common vehicles it fits would be helpfull. Remember-plenty of 'custom' wheels that technicaly bolt up to a vehicle are completely wrong once a hard-cornering repu needs to tuck it inside a fender.
