Christian Dawson to Speak at The Rotary Revolution!
Indianapolis, IN - The Rotary Revolution proudly announces guest speaker Christian Dawson, President of the Rotary Car Club of Chicago (RC3) to Rotary Revolution 2005.
As we all know the cornerstone of a strong rotary community are the local clubs that tie all of us together. The Rotary Revolution promotes local rotary clubs and wants to help build new and stronger clubs throughout the community. Given this, we introduce a very exciting topic that Mr. Dawson has agreed to share with our attendees:
Christian's Topic: Building A Lasting Local Rotary Club
Christian will go over steps and suggestions to take in starting your club; from organizing local meets and events to applying for non-profit status for funding and everything in-between. He will also cover effective communication methods to keep club members informed and interested, ways to bring in funds to help subsidize events and methods to include your club in larger regional or national events. Some material covered will be somewhat general as some topics vary state to state, but this will give those interested in starting their own local club material and ideas to get it successfully off the ground.
The Rotary Revolution is extremely excited to have Christian cover such an important topic during his seminar. Those of you who looking to start a new rotary club in your area or grow your current rotary club are encouraged to attend.
A little about Christian:
For the past two and a half years, Christian has been a part of the rotary community; purchasing his 1993 RX-7 in Aug of 2002. He assumed the role of President of the Rotary Car Club of Chicago (RC3) during the summer of 2004 and has strived to rebuild the Chicago club from the ground up. Currently the Rotary Car Club of Chicago has well over 100 members!
