Is that the REPU with GSL-SE engine that was on eBay? The one with the mother-lode of new-old-stock parts!!!!!! as for pics, most of the regulars around here have our trucks in the gallery.

upon more than a 2 second look, i see that it isn't the same truck. That looks like an 86+ engine in there?

in answer to your question

that is a 91 conversion. all stock wiring , computer, etc. even better it's calif smog legal, went through the referee and all. i also decided i wanted air conditioning. so i fabricated all that in from the 91 also. aprox 2 month's and it will be painted.

Cool! A first-time poster/long-time lurker is a lot better than a newbie who really is new and ends up embarrasing himself infront of the regulars. I look forward to your posts and input to this forum.

Well, at least I'M not the only one!

...as to the 'REPU on Ebay'...I wish to solve that mystery. Damn, I was sure I was being obvious enough! (Nudge, nudge; wink, wink; say no more, say no more!) Anywho, it's quite a tale; a tale of a fateful trip--of rotorheads upon the road, improper paperwork, and pictures that look better than reality--(but isn't that always the way it is?). Regardless, all's well that ends well, and, perhaps it all ends well enough...we shall see when it all plays out. Stay tuned for the WHOLE story, in words and pictures, (if I can figure out how to post 'em), probably in several installments--if enough'a y'all are genuinely interested. And yes, aspects of it ARE sweet enough...
Happily back home in OR. after flatbed-hauling to and from CA.'s east bay area--K.
