Yeah, I decided to give it a second chance

I live in southern California, My dad bought the Repu like 12 years ago for my older brother. When I got old enough to drive I began paying attention to cars and trucks and I figured out that this was no ordinary truck. unfotunately my dad sold the truck. The guy that bought it got hit on the passengers side and messed up the door and a bit of the bed. My dad got the truck back for next to nothing and had it painted. The carb on the cheap piston engine died and the truck was given a rest for a few years. this year I moved out and I decided to keep the truck instead of selling it since I figured I would regret it if I did. The body is fairly straight, but I plan on doing alot of custom work on this truck since I am already planning on the T2 engine. Since its a California truck I havent seen to much rust on it but I want to start fron the ground up anyhow. I was gonna do a rotary swap on my 1990 Mazda B2600i but I figured it would be better and more deserving to put it in the REPU(plus in 2 years it will be smog exempt). Well thanx alot for the warm welcome to the REPU community. Maybe in the future we can have a REPU show or meet at Sevenstock.........
