13b rebuild
Hi, I just purchaced a REPU... low and behold the rear rotor has compresion of 105,60,60. So I most likely have a chiped apex seal or if I am lucky a bad spring. I was just wondering if I can use a internel o-ring kit from a newer "86-91" 13b. oh yea I know this is not the spot but I need a front valance and the parts to do a auto to manuel swap... besides trany, slave cylender, and mount.

Just did mine a few months back. Some advice..
The heavy duty clutch that is out there is very stiff, so don't get it if you aren't racing.
The master cylinder that is listed various parts sources is a bored out courier/mazda unit, and won't just "bolt up". No clearance for the plumbing as configured. You would have to bash sheet metal out of the way. I did, but mine is no collector grade!
Clutch hydraulic line from a courier can be adapted. Or dissasembled for the plumbing bits and remanufactured.
Get an original pedal assy. I'm using an adapted (very) courier. It works, but not as good as stock. Perhaps a racing pedal assembly is out there somewhere.
Light weight steel flywheel uses the counterweights from the auto transmission setup, so that is one less thing to find.
Check mazdatrix and felix miata's website for good info.
Good luck!
