Pinneaple Racing Rebuilds? Engine Porting?

has anyone gone through pinneaple reacing to rebuilt there engine? there located in oregon. Was it good service? Was it easy dealing with them? -------- For people who have gotten a "street porting" done, did it help alot or could you barely notice? about how much hp does it give you. did you run into any problems? thank you

I personaly have not but if you go to nopistons.com and ask you will get nothing but good replies.. there is a guy there that just got his engine from pineaplle and he has a video of it being started up.. It is a 3rd generation rx7 but he is definately happy with the work..

I talked to uhh, whats his name, is it Rob? Anyway, I talked to him at sevenstock because I won 2 gallons of the Evans coolant that he supplied for the event. I also watched his presentation about apex seals and rebuilding/upgrading motors. He really seems like a great guy and I got the impression that he really knows his stuff. I have heard so many people praising his work that I would have no problem having him do some work for me.

I've used them

I am having rob @ pineapple build me a 12a J-bridgeport for my 81 rx7 racecar. He's VERY honest and straightforward. Great guy. I learned more about race motors from a 20 min phone conversation with him than surfing the web for the last year!

I had no prob sending him a check for $6000. Ceramic apex seals aren't cheap but they do LAST and make some more power!
