Take back that carb kit,
and exchange it for a better brand that gives you the sheet. (Not to mention inspecting those kits prior to purchase to make sure they actually give you the parts you need...) Or, get your hands on as many different publisher's manuals for your truck as you can, and cross-reference between them--not all manuals have all the information...
Make sure you get a new base gasket as well, if the old one is doubtful in any way. Check your float first thing, to make certain it hasn't been leaking/taking on fuel. Cleanliness is next to godliness... Don't lose ANY of the small parts! Don't ream out your jets with anything metal. Protect your eyes, and get a can of Chem-dip and/or spray B-12 chemtool for cleaning. Beware these strong solvents! Have excellent ventilation.
Relax, and have fun! It's not so tough, really. A little attention to detail can go a long way... Good luck!
